Public Relations Assistant job description

We are looking for a hardworking Public Relations Assistant to support day-to-day operations for our team and its clients.

  • Duties and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
    • Research, creation and management of content calendars ;
    • Contributing innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions;
    • Event planning, execution and staffing;
    • Writing and creation of PR content (media pitches, press releases, etc.);
    • Media monitoring and metrics management;
    • Research, creation and managements of media contact databases;
    • Administrative tasks;
    • Product delivery.

Desired requirements and qualifications include (but are not limited to):

    • Previous working experience as a communications intern/assistant;
    • Four-year degree in public relations, communications or similar relevant field;
    • General knowledge of PR and marketing processes and best practices;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    • Experience with popular social media platforms ;
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
    • Consistent attention to detail.


The right hire for us will be employed as a 1099 contract worker to begin. Hourly wage based on experience. Flexible hours. Work from home.
